Venus in Libra trine Pluto: It’s time to deepen and refine your connections

Venus enters Libra today and very quickly within an hour of entering Libra makes a trine to Pluto. Venus loves being in Libra because it's one of their home signs and they have access to all of their resources and everything that they need to perform their jobs related to love, relationships, beauty, pleasure and art. 

You will experience a noticeable difference on how you want to relate with others, how your relationships are feeling, and what you’re focusing on. When Venus was in Virgo we were very introspective, detail oriented and analytical so we weren’t outwardly engaging as much with everybody around us. But with Venus in Libra, we now have a stronger desire to not only interact with others, but we're more likely to start to attract others towards us through the way that we're being, the way we're acting and the interactions that we're having together. 

Venus in Libra can bring sweetness and love and caring to all of your relationships whether they're business, personal or family. Everything will feel just a little bit sweeter and it will be easier to connect with folks. One thing that you will notice during this time is that Venus is bringing attention to the people in your life, groups or communities, and your relationships within them that no longer serve you. These are people and relationships that no longer resonate with you for one reason or another.

The South Node is in Libra so we've been working on this long cycle of letting relationships go and making sure that the relationships and connections that we do have with others are supportive to our needs and our desires. So with Venus trine Pluto so soon after entering Libra, there is this strong feeling that we can create really powerful relationships during this time. 

Any time you’re thinking, I'm nervous about letting this relationship go or I'm nervous about pursuing this other relationship or however the dynamic works–for example, it could be that you know you just need to put more time into one relationship and stop wasting time on another one. 

However it's showing up for you, allowing the South Node to help you let the relationships and people go that you need to will actually draw deeper connections in with those really important relationships and collaborations that will be supportive to you and your life. And they'll be reciprocal, they'll be supportive to the other person as well as you when you go in deep and intensify your relationships by bringing them the care and focus and kindness and love that they need. It ripples out to everybody involved.

One of the things that's always haunted me for many, many years is all of the people and relationships I've said goodbye to over the years through job changes, starting a family, and moves. When I got focused on what was most important, it was always related to myself and my most important relationships. Everything that was supposed to fall away at that time did, and the things that were meant to stay, stayed. 

I really like to think about this period of time with Venus in Libra, and drawing in these relationships that are powerful and intense (in the best way possible!), as a way for us to continue to focus on the things that we want to bring into our life. Oftentimes we don't actually have to work hard to release the things and relationships it's time to let go of. It’s usually us holding on too tight to something that makes something stay. 

So with Venus in Libra I invite you to step into your power, bring that inner power to your relationships to share from a deep place of love and caring and collaboration and see what comes up for you. Venus in Libra can be over giving so you do want to check yourself on any sort of power dynamics that are at play during this time that is sending you a red flag about why something needs to go. 

This would be a great time to work on a collaborative project where you need to be able to look at all the different sides of the situation. Pluto also often brings about transformation through the experiences you have or sometimes bringing things that were hidden from you forward. There's the possibility for something coming to the forefront that you didn't know in one of your relationships that you didn't know about before.

I like to think of it as something that's positive coming forward that makes you go, “Ohh yeah, that makes sense. That's why I want to dig in deeper with this person in this community.” We’ll be having a solar eclipse in Libra on October 2!
